Built by family, shaped by shipping
Burando is based in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, close to Europe’s largest port: Rotterdam. The company was founded in 1994 by Ben and Hans Stok. Ben began his career in the 1960s as a shipping agent in the port of Rotterdam, responding to customer demand for temperature-controlled road transport.
This marks the foundation for Burando Transport Service. The company was already active in the maritime sector at that time, and these activities have expanded significantly in the years after. The third generation, Julian Stok, is now also working with us for several years.
Our primary goal has always been to provide clients with impeccable and reliable service. This allows the client to focus on other business matters and to have peace of mind that their transport requirements are in capable and trusted hands.
